  42. The major fix in this release is to address the problems referred to in CERT
  43. Advisory CA-99-03-FTP-Buffer-Overflows. This involved fixes to the real_path
  44. subroutine as well as changes in the size of the buffers used when calling
  45. this routine.

  47. Some changes were made to address some problem compiling on Digital Unix
  48. that were provided by Reiner Dassing. As I have no access to this operating
  49. system, I can't be sure they do anything useful, but they are there none
  50. the less.

  52. Jeff Laing provide a fix to help address a precedence problem involving the
  53. PORT command.

  55. Ian Willis offered a number of fixes. Those are included in this version:
  56.     o fixed a memory allocation/free problem in acl.o
  57.     o fixed some remaining problems in the proctitle subroutines
  58.         o fixed some documentation problems in the manual pages
  59.         o fixed an off-by-one problem in ftpcount.c
  60.         o fixed a bug in getaclentry so that previously defined values are
  61.           not reused
  62.         o fixed a problem in the receive_data subroutine
